2014 Members Using Members Award

February 27, 2014 Wasco, Inc. was awarded the Members Using Members Award. This recognized Wasco, Inc. as a subcontractor who worked with the most members of the Associated General Contractors of Tennessee, Middle Tennessee Branch in 2013.


2014 AGC Awards Banquet

February 27, 2014 AGC held an awards banquet, Build Tennessee Awards. Nine out of the nineteen companies awarded, Wasco, Inc. was the masonry subcontractor for. The Skylar, Vanderbilt Campus Alumni Hall Renovations, Austin Peay Maynard Building, MeHarry Medical College Lyttle Hall, MBA Wallace Hall, Omni Nashville Hotel, COMPTRUST AGC Tennessee Building, Vanderbilt University Alumni Hall Restoration, and Madison Police Precinct and Crime Lab. We are proud of the work our company has completed!


WASCO, Inc. has moved!

WASCO, Inc. held the 1138 2nd Ave. N location for over 30 years, and although a tough decision, we have finally moved into a new building. Our new address is 1122 2nd Ave. N Suite B. Nashville, TN. Farm Bureau graciously accepted us as their new upstairs tenants. Please come and visit us at our new home!


Winner of 2013 Construction Award of Excellence

WASCO, Inc. won this award for Vanderbilt University Alumni Hall Renovation which Harry Smith and Terry Hayden headed up. Congratulations to you both for an outstanding job!


Winner of Brick Layer 500

September 23, 2013 our very own, Zac Guire, won the Brick Layer 500 at the MCAA/SPEC mix regional in Nashville, TN and is now going to the finals in Las Vegas, NV. Way to go Zac!!

WASCO Among the First to be Certified in New Masonry Certification Program

August 3, 2011 (Nashville, TN) – Wasco, Inc. has earned certification through the newly created Masonry Certification program, sponsored by the Mason Contractors Association of America (MCAA). The company’s scope of masonry is commercial, institutional, industrial and restoration projects.

MCAAThe MCAA has developed the national Masonry Certification program to provide customers with a tool to select mason contractors who are committed to quality and have backed it up with a commitment to continually educate themselves and all their key employees. Quality of work and end-user satisfaction are the foundation of the certification program. In addition, companies must renew their certification every three years.

June 2, 2010 – WASCO Featured in UT Construction Projects Photo Gallery

Brandon Douglas with WASCO of Knoxville gets a shovel of grout while working on the renovation of Ayres Hall on the University of Tennessee campus on Wednesday. The building, constructed in 1921, will get a clock in its tower, which was in the original plans but wasn’t included because of lack of funds. Click here to see the photos.
